This is a 2.2-inch flex sensor that works by altering its resistance as it is flexed. The technology behind it is patented by Spectra Symbol, who state that it was used in the classic Nintendo Power Glove. The resistance changes when the metal pads are on the outside of the bend and the text is on the inside. The connector has a 0.1-inch spacing, making it compatible with breadboards.
