This is a waterproof version of the DS18B20 temperature sensor. It provides 9 to 12-bit (configurable) temperature readings over a 1-Wire interfaceso that only one wire (and ground) needs to be connected to a central microprocessor. It can measure temperatures from -55? to 125? (-67F to 257F). In additionthis thermo probe doesn’t require any external power supply since it draws power from data line. And its stainless steel probe head makes it suitable for any wet or harsh environment.

Each DS18B20 sensor contains a unique silicon serial numberso multiple sensors can use the same wire bus. Sensors can be installed in many different places. For exampleHVAC environmental controlsensing temperatures inside buildingsequipment or machineryand process monitoring and control.
